Choosing the Right Path for Your Family

Recommended

Private Cremation (Ashes Returned)

Your pet is cremated alone. This ensures that the ashes you receive are exclusively those of your beloved companion.

Best For: Families who wish to keep their pet’s ashes or scatter them in a special place.

Communal Cremation (No Ashes Returned)

Your pet is cremated respectfully alongside other beloved pets. Because they are together, it is not possible to return ashes to the family.

Respectful communal cremation.

Ashes are spread at a designated peaceful memorial ground.

(Optional) You can still request a clay paw print for a small additional fee.

Best For: Families who do not wish to keep ashes but want a respectful handling of remains.

Understanding Costs

Our aftercare pricing is all-inclusive based on two factors:

Your Choice: (Private vs. Communal)

Your Pet's Weight: Larger pets require more resources for transport and cremation.

There are no hidden fees. Please contact us for a specific quote based on your pet’s weight.

How Ashes Are Returned

If you choose Private Cremation, we ensure your pet comes home to you safely. For families in East Setauket and surrounding towns, Dr. Jake or a staff member will personally return your pet’s ashes to your home, or we can arrange for tracked delivery if preferred.

We usually receive ashes back within 7–14 days.
